On the Issues

Abortion:

We believe in the sanctity of life from conception. Abortion denies the most vulnerable among us the unalienable right to life and thus should be made illegal, without exception. Planned Parenthood must be defunded and the baseless Roe v. Wade should be overturned immediately. We favor an unconditional federal ban on all abortion by legislation or constitutional amendment.

Constitution and the Courts:

We believe in the Constitutional system of government outlined by our Founding Fathers. Furthermore, we believe in the appointment of judges in the mold of Justice Clarence Thomas who interpret the Constitution and laws as written, considering the original intent of those who wrote the documents.

Federal Power:

Too much power rests in the hands of unelected bureaucrats in Washington. We support ending Chevron deference and thereby forcing Congress to outline rules and regulations in legislation. By doing this, power will be taken away from the unelected, unaccountable, entrenched bureaucrats and given back to the people. Furthermore, we reject the increased use of executive orders by Presidents of both parties. Laws should be passed with the blessing of the people’s elected representatives, not one man in the Oval Office.

We believe in upholding the Founding Fathers’ system of checks and balances, both between the branches of the federal government and between the federal government and the states. State government is where most issues of importance ought to be settled. Thus, we support reforming the Dole v. South Dakota ruling which undermines the power of the states.

Religious Liberty:

All Americans should have the right to practice their faith without the government telling them how to do so. We are very concerned with the implications of the recent Bostock v. Clayton County decision with regard to religious liberty. We also reject efforts to scrub the mention of God out of public life, as this is a nation of people “endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights.”

Moral Issues

We stand against the left’s attempts to redefine the basic tenets of our Judeo Christian values that for so long undergirded the social fabric of our exceptional nation. Moreover, we categorically oppose the left’s hideous transgender ideology, which threatens free speech, the safety of women and girls, and the rights of parents to exercise control over their children. Additionally, we believe that marriage is the union between one man and one woman and we oppose any effort to redefine marriage.

Foreign Policy:

We believe in Ronald Reagan’s saying, “When you can't make them see the light, make them feel the heat.” We must actively seek out evil across the world and destroy it. History has shown us that toothless deals with our enemies fail, including the Iran nuclear deal and its predecessor with North Korea. War should not be our first option when it comes to dealing with adversaries, but it also must not be off the table altogether.

We unequivocally support Israel and her status as the only democracy in the Middle East and denounce anti-Semitic BDS efforts prevalent on college campuses. We also recognize the threats posed by Russia, Iran, and especially China given their continual theft of intellectual property and oppression of religious and political minorities. Thus we support taking strong diplomatic, economic, and if necessary military actions to counter the threats of these nations to global order and individual liberty.

Military Spending:

We believe that a strong military is critical to peace and safety both at home and abroad. Thus, we support keeping the military well funded and well equipped to counter our adversaries abroad. Weakness is provocative.

Taxation:

Supply side economics and free market capitalism have lifted billions out of poverty and have led to the greatest quality of life for all people in human history. Free market capitalism and strong property rights have made it possible to enter a century confined to the earth and exit it having put a man on the moon. Capitalism sparks life changing innovation. No other economic system has allowed for such incredible progress in such a short period of time. Socialism has failed everywhere it has been tried and its death toll outpaces any American war by orders of magnitude. We advocate for lower taxes on all people and businesses in order to stimulate economic growth and prosperity for all Americans.

Spending and Debt:

We are approaching a debt crisis that will be impossible to solve simply by raising taxes. The Republican Congress has failed to take any action recently, simply rubber stamping trillion dollar deficit after trillion dollar deficit. To alleviate our debt crisis, we must reconsider the structure of Social Security and Medicare. Those already on the programs should continue to receive the benefits promised to them, but the programs must be significantly reformed for people currently under 50 in order to prevent a catastrophe in the coming decades.

Political Spending:

Spending on political causes is speech and we reject any efforts to restrict people’s right to let their voices be heard via spending on political activities. Citizens United was correctly decided. Furthermore, we reject efforts to force the unmasking of anonymous donors—in today’s culture where one can be “cancelled” for merely expressing support for conservatism, anonymity is more important than ever. Additionally, we reject the movement to increase public funding of elections as it is a waste of taxpayer funds and amounts to Democrats tipping the scales of fairness in their favor.

Gun Rights:

We believe in every American’s right to bear arms and will fight to protect it from intrusion by elites behind walls and men with guns. Moreover, we oppose any attempt to restrict Second Amendment rights, including background checks, assault weapons bans and “red flag” laws. Every year guns save thousands of lives and allow people to protect themselves from intruders and others with malicious intent; most mass shootings occur in so-called “gun-free zones” where shooters know that they will face no resistance. Ending this ill-advised, totalitarian practice and reinstituting forced institutionalization are much better solutions to the problems we face today rather than infringing on Americans’ right to bear arms.

Healthcare:

The government has overregulated healthcare, which has resulted in higher prices and worse outcomes. Obamacare must be repealed and a conservative, free-market healthcare policy that gives people choices and flexibility must be implemented.

Education:

We believe that parents, not the government, know what is best for their children. As such, we believe in further localizing education and allowing parents more school choice via vouchers and charter schools. We have also seen the horrible effects of teacher's unions in our nation’s schools, hitting underprivileged children the hardest, and believe that teacher pay should be based on merit, with good teachers getting considerable raises and bad ones being shown the door. Teachers’ unions, along with all public-sector unions, should be disbanded.

Immigration:

The immigration system in this country is fundamentally flawed. Qualified workers are denied visas while illegal aliens’ first act in America is to break her laws. First, a wall must be built and the border must be secured. Next, laws must be reformed to end chain migration and promote merit-based immigration. We favor a policy of self-deportation for illegals currently within the country. With respect to legal immigration, no individual who will be a public charge should be permitted to immigrate. Immigration is only a positive good insofar as it benefits the United States and its citizens.

Energy:

Hydraulic fracturing has been fantastic for our economy and America’s energy needs. We support full legalization of the practice nationwide as it has allowed us to become energy independent. Additionally, we support nuclear power and private research into renewable energy but reject the Green New Deal, carbon taxes, or cap and trade systems as job-killing ideas that do little to reduce global emissions while trampling upon property rights.

American Exceptionalism:

We believe that America is the best country ever founded and we will continue to push back on efforts to cast America and her history as anything less. We particularly reject efforts to remove statues of historical figures: many of them have earned places of honor, and those whose actions are truly reprehensible must still remain so that we remember their evil acts rather than forgetting them. Additionally, we support honesty in academia and in grade schools so that Americans are educated about the true, impressive history of our country and society rather than the ridiculous caricatures presented by leftist teachers, historians, sociologists, and academics.
