2020: Why this Election Matters Like No Other
On November 8, 2016, the American people faced their most consequential choice since the start of the 21st century. During the 8 years of the Obama Presidency, the left steadily continued their century-old Progressive project to devour and plunder the wealth and liberty of all Americans. On November 7, 2016, the left was ready to continue doing just that, were it not for the election of President Donald Trump. The outcome of the 2016 election was nothing short of a miracle, as millions of Americans looked to Donald Trump as the man who would advert America from disaster.
To the left, Donald Trump represents an unacceptable threat to the progressive project, and they have thus taken unprecedented actions to destroy him. They tried to smear the president with false charges of Russian Collusion; they tried to impeach the dutiful President for having done nothing wrong; they obstructed and destroyed the lives of the President’s appointees such as now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. They impeached the President for nothing, blamed him for the largest pandemic in 100 years, and fomented an insurrection to foment racial hatred. Moreover, the left has done everything in its power to ensure that the miracle of 2016 does not take place again, smearing the president with their lies all while shamelessly trying to protect Biden from bomb-shell revelations of his own disturbing corruption.
The lives of thousands of Americans have been utterly destroyed by Black Lives Matter and Antifa, and many such as black retired police captain David Dorn were murdered in cold blood. Now on the eve of the election, they are holding America hostage. If the election does not go their way, they threaten they will do it again. The reason is as clear as it was in 2018: Donald Trump represents the single greatest threat to the Progressive project, and thus, he must be destroyed by any means necessary.
Nevertheless, he has persisted. Trump has grown the economy more than any other president over the course of the past decade by unleashing the power of free market principles. Moreover, he has stood against our nation’s enemies abroad, holding China accountable while Joe Biden was funneling $10 million from the CCP through his son’s corrupt business dealings. In the face of an anti-American insurrection at home, Trump never caved to the lies of Black Lives Matter and Antifa: he stood firm and defiantly protected American greatness in the face of leftist rage. But most importantly, Trump has been the greatest defender of the unborn in our nation’s history, saving the lives of hundreds of preborn children, and appointed hundreds of originalist justices to the upper and lower courts. Thanks to the efforts of the President, we were able to confirm three originalist justices to the Supreme Court in a single term.
Tomorrow, the American people will be faced with the same choice that was before them just 4 years ago. And the stakes could not be higher. The Democrats in their quest for power have finally lost their minds, as they plan to carry out an expansive Green New Deal, banning fracking, and packing the Supreme Court. But more than that, a vote for a Democrat is a vote for theft and wealth redistribution. A vote for a Democrat is a vote to murder more preborn children. A vote for a Democrat is a vote for a limp foreign policy which bends over for China. The list goes on.
As we stated in 2018 on the eve of midterm elections:
“Do the American people still believe in our founding principles of liberty and do they still value freedom? The fate of freedom in the greatest country on earth will depend on how you, the American people, answer that question.”
The answer to this question will finally be answered tomorrow night, and once again we leave that answer in the hands of all Americans.
