The Media’s Double Standards

We are deeply saddened and angered by the senseless killing of retired St. Louis Police Captain, David Dorn. Captain Dorn was known throughout his community as a great citizen and family man. He was murdered last weekend, defending a friend’s store from a gang of looters. His last few moments of life, bleeding out on the floor, were caught on video and publicly shared throughout Facebook and other social media platforms.

Like many other African American murder victims of the recent looting and rioting spree plaguing our country, the liberal media and the Black Lives Matter movement have made an effort to silence deaths that don’t fit their narrative. It is time for the American public and media to wake up and publicly condemn the violence brought on by rioters. Whatever side of the aisle you’re on, any decent person acknowledges that the death of a non-violent individual does not solve any problems. Our prayers are with the Dorn family in their time of great loss.
